Marshall's Isatu Fofanah qualified for the final in both the 100 and 200 meter events to pace the Thundering Herd on the third day of competition at the Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Marshall's Catika Slay recorded a third-place heptathlon finish Friday at the Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in El Paso.

Isatu Fofanah finished fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.73 seconds to lead the Marshall outdoor track and field team this weekend at the Kentucky Relays.

Marshall track and field and cross country coach Jeff Small announced Friday the addition of 11 recruits to the women's track and field and cross country rosters, and also added two signees in men's cross country.

The Marshall track and field team took part in the Penn Relays once again this season and excelled in the 4 x 200 meter relay.

Marshall's 4 x 200-meter relay team of Kametra Byrd, Shanice Johnson, Naja Greer and Isatu Fofanah won the fifth heat today at the Penn Relays in a time of 1:37.71.
